Sanquin Blood Supply Foundation, hereinafter referred to as 'Sanquin', has decided to organise a European procurement procedure for the supply of new X-Ray (blood) irradiators.
To prevent the transfusion-associated graft versus host disease, blood products are irradiated with a radioactive source.
