Sanquin Blood Supply Foundation, hereinafter referred to as 'Sanquin', has decided to organise a European procurement procedure for the supply of new X-Ray (blood) irradiators.
To prevent the transfusion-associated graft versus host disease, blood products are irradiated with a radioactive source. Sanquin's issuing departments irradiate the blood products on request of the hospital. Sanquin currently has an irradiation device at seven (7) issuing departments. All these devices make use of gamma irradiation. Sanquin wishes to switch to new X-Ray irradiators.

Scope tender:
— fully comply with the user requirement specifications (URS) and all applicable legislation;
— shorter irradiation time for the blood products;
— possibility to irradiate at least three (different) blood products;
— possibility to connect with the eProgresa system;
— user friendly solution with easy to use user interface;
— supplying user — and technical documentation (preferably also in Dutch);
— support in training, preventive and corrective maintenance.
Duur: 60 maanden
Beschrijving van de verlengingen:
After the initial period, the agreement will automatically extend for 5 times one (1) year periods. Sanquin is entitled to terminate this agreement at any time after the initial period. After the end of the last extension period, this agreement will terminate automatically.
