Selective European Tendering Procedure Digitization of Dutch Literary Titles ('DBNL-compliant full text XML') (Koninklijke Bibliotheek)
The production process currently used by KB primarily focuses on the quality of correctly displayed text and images from the source. Scans of the source, largely in Latin script, are converted into an XML file using OCR, in accordance with the TEI standard (http://www.tei-c.org). The result is a valid 99,995 % correct full text in TEI-XML, that is enriched with metadata. The images from the scan are supplied as PNG files.
