This publication is a follow up of publication with tendered publication 71493 and same tender number 31106439.
National and uniform replacement of the radar target tracking chain as part of Vessel Traffic Services (VTS systems) in the management area of Rijkswaterstaat, including maintenance and support.
In order to be eligible to participate in this contract, the candidate must have participated in what is known as a Proof of Ability (PoA). Successful participation in this PoA is the only way for a vendor to demonstrate that he is capable to satisfy the requirements (reference requirement). Participation is therefore open to vendors of radar target tracking systems. RWS does not seek customised software, but is looking for existing software products available as a commercial off-the-shelf package (COTS).

Description: Being able to deliver a COTS radar tracking system (RDV) which meets the requirements for a busy riversystem as present in the Dutch management area of Rijkswaterstaat.
Requirements: Succesfull participation in the Proof of Ability.

Criteria: System Integration.
Description: Being able to integrate a RDV system or a comparable system in a complex VTS environment (CCTV, VHF, AIS etc.).
Requirements: This compentency can be demonstrated by a recent (< 3 years) reference project.
Criteria: Maintenance and Service organisation.
Description: Being able to maintain a 24/7 maintenance and service organisation for a RDV or comparable system.
Requirements: This competency can be demonstrated by a recent (<3 year) reference project.
