TenneT, as offshore grid operator in the Dutch Sector of the North Sea, is responsible for the provision of the offshore grid connection systems (GCS) from which the wind energy is transported to the onshore grid. Within each of these grid connection systems, a 700 MW AC Offshore High Voltage Substation (OHVS) is included.
