The initial requirement consists of 122 mortars 81 mm caliber, including a diversity of ammunition, initial spare parts, documentation, training and sighting equipment. The new systems will replace the ones currently operational in the armed forces. This initial requirement will be the first call under a Framework Agreement for the delivery of mortars and ammunition during the operational life of the weapon system, estimated at 20 years.
