The scope of work is the delivery of three systems based on digital technology, qualified for use in nuclear safety applications, aimed for monitoring and control of various processes and associated facilities of a research nuclear reactor. The design implements nuclear safety, various degrees of redundancy, cyber security, availability, maintainability requirements, founded on international nuclear codes and standards.
Each system consists of a control and monitoring integrated system, including consoles for Human Machine Interface (HMI), control processors, remote field units and networks, implementing automatic control logics and algorithms.
The established architecture features a functional hierarchy division between three levels of processing: supervision, control, and field, with networks for data transmission.
The systems are based on Commercial of the Shelf (COTS) products.
