The anticipated impact of this project is improved connectivity by replacing 12 bridges in the provinces of Champasak & Salavan to ensure that the local population along the National Road 20 (NR20) will have reliable all-season access to other villages as well as regional hubs (i.e., Pakse and Salavan). The project consists of the construction of 12 bridges, associated street furniture, and temporary bridges. In addition, there have been several Technical Assistance (TA) assignments (supervision services, procurement support, and root cause analysis of proposed bridges). The evaluation of this project will be split into phases.
