With the realisation of shore power, Rotterdam wants to preserve the image of cruise ships in the centre of the city and contribute to the ambitions regarding air quality and climate. The political desire is to quickly realise the proposed shore power system for the Cruise Terminal.

The goal of the project “Shore Power Cruise Terminal” concerns the commissioning of a working shore power system within budget and within the established schedule for the handling of Cruise Ships by Cruise Port Rotterdam.
