The GAEA system must be supplied as a whole. We expect the final delivery to contain all software, required material and equipment needed to install GAEA as a fully operational system at the production sites. For reference: the current system consists of a server and a data storage environment. On the server are +/-20 local workstations (clients) connected, supporting the meteorologist's work. In addition a limited number of LEADS workstations are available at airbases to be able to process the data read out locally. The existing system uses satellite information, data of (inter)national datacenters and information of meteorological networks. The system integrates this information in order to evaluate the environment (aerospace, atmosphere, soil and water). Based on the data, the meteorological system creates graphical meteorological products to generate atmospheric, oceanographic and spatial awareness. The Contracting Authority hereby invites you to submit a Request for participation in tendering for delivery, installation and support of a Meteorological Data Processing System (project name: GAEA)
The tendering procedure will be conducted as a Restricted Procedure pursuant to the Dutch Defence and Security Procurement Act (ADV).
The procedure will be conducted fully electronically via the Negometrix online tendering platform. Further information regarding the use of Negometrix.
