TenneT will refactor applications, not directly related to the management of the energy grid, to the cloud.
Part of these applications will be provided in a Software as a Service (SaaS) model, in which the provider is responsible for the interface and the processing of the application.

The external service provider will support the Cloud Operations of TenneT in the domains of Service Management, Subscription Management, Public Service Management, Security & Identity Access Management, Cloud Cost Management, Connectivity & Network and Support.

In order to allow TenneT to execute TenneT's sourcing strategy, and due to the high transition costs, long transition period, extensive and complex migration, extensive adoption and training of employees, the maximum total contract length will be 12 years.
