The optics in ETpathfinder will be cooled to cryogenic temperatures. To shield from thermal radiation, sets of thermal shields will surround the mirror. The middle set of shields, the topic of this tender, will be connected to a liquid-nitrogen thermal bath. The heat from thermal radiation from the room-temperature environment is conductively transported by these shields towards the liquid nitrogen. Therefore, these shields need to have high thermal conductivity and need to be created from a special type of Aluminum.
