The final product is divided into two parts:
1. The delivery of a Doppler LIDAR device (consisting of a single or multiple instruments, see 3.1)to measure the 3D wind field, which includes the use of software, training of employees and support and maintenance of the device for the first two years after date of completed SAT.
2. Starting from the third year after completed SAT, the assignment consists of a service and maintenance agreement (SLA) of the device as well as the option for use of (specific parts of) software and the option for an upgraded SLA with higher guaranteed uptime.
The choice for use of (specific parts of) software and the option for an upgraded SLA with higher guaranteed uptime will be made by KNMI at that time.

The total value of the assignment is expected to come to approx. € 1.200.000,00 excl. VAT.
The above amount is an indication only; Tenderers cannot derive any rights and/or obligations from this amount.
The initial duration of the Contract will be two (2) years, starting from the date of the completed SAT.
Two (2) years after the complete delivery this Contract can be renewed yearly for a period of maximum eight (8) years by the Purchaser. The maximum total duration of the Contract is ten (10) years.
Starting from the third year after delivery the Contact consists of a service and maintenance ag
1. The use of software or specific modules of software starting from the third year after completed SAT.
2. The possibility for a higher guaranteed uptime than the required 95%, achieved through an upgraded service and maintenance agreement (SLA).
