Replacement Floating Bridging Capacity
Scope of the Contract:
- the delivery of 3 systems of Wide Wet Gap Crossing (WWGC) capability including an initial spare parts package for three years, special tools and test equipment, documentation, the provision of training and options for additional technical functionalities and additional subsystems to be invoked within 9 months after award of the contract;
- the performance of maintenance to WWGC capability including the delivery and/or rendering of associated goods and services during a period of at least 15 years, at request.
A system is a complete set of subsystems pontoons, propulsion and Bridge Adapter Pallet (BAP), components and parts that makes WWGC possible. It can be used to assemble a bridge configuration used to cross a wet gap from bank to bank, a ferry configuration used as roll-on-roll-off ferry's to transport the troops from bank to bank and a work platform configuration used as a diving barge. Each system shall consist of sufficient subsystems to assemble at least the following configurations:
• One MLC80T bridge for WWGC of at least 75 meters (integrated ramp pontoons not included) for traffic of heavy military vehicles;
• Three (3) MLC80T ferries with the provision for the roll-on and roll-off functionality for WWGC from bank to bank with heavy military vehicles;
• One (1) work platform for use on water/rivers.
The BAP's have to be transported on the available WLS Trucks within the RNLA Bridging Unit. Due to probably needed connections (hydraulics, pressurized air, power) between de WLS truck and the subsystem BAP, the Tenderer (Supplier) will be responsible for the integration of the BAP's on the WLS trucks.
The procedure will be conducted via the Negometrix online tendering platform, unless explicitly stated otherwise. Further information about the use of Negometrix is available on:
