Due to the energy transition, Client faces significant increase in the development of the power grid and – as a result – an increased demand in Power Transformers. To be able to achieve its goals, a steady and reliable supply of high quality Power Transformers is necessary, as is the flexibility of Contractors to scale production when necessary.
Therefore, Client is looking for Candidates who can supply Power Transformers with a continuous high quality and a reliable and efficient production and delivery process. In this Tender procedure the participating Tenderers will be scored on aspects in the areas of price, (design) techniques, quality assurance, security of delivery (i.e. reliability, delivery time flexibility) and flexibility in volumes.
To increase efficiency Client standardized the range of Power Transformers to 12 types. Once the design of a type has been approved by Client, for following orders of this type the design phase may be skipped.

The scope includes the design , production and delivery process, from design, production, FAT, Transport DDP to a sub-station in The Netherlands incl. offloading of the Power Transformer, erection (ready for operation incl. SAT) and services & problem solving within the warranty period for new Power Transformers for substations and control stations in the power range of 20 MVA to 140 MVA.
