Airborne Simulation and Airborne Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR)

Ministerie van Defensie

The Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) has a requirement to enter into a 5-year framework agreement for the provision of the below mentioned services combined in one contract.
1) Airborne simulation services by means of manned aircraft that can host the sensors necessary for threat simulation, jamming and close air support.
This service will entail (not limited to):
โ€” the provision of fast moving aircraft as a close air support asset for Joint Terminal Attack Controller (JTAC) courses;
โ€” the provision of fast moving aircraft as a close air support asset for Fire Support Team (FST) training;
โ€” the provision of fast and slow moving aircraft to facilitate ships' sea acceptance trials by means of radar performance, tracking and weapon firing. The ships' crew will use the aircraft to conduct tracking runs, surface to air gunnery and/or early warning training exercises as part of different warfare training scenarios. This also entails the provision of fast moving aircraft that are capable to stream and tow aerial targets.
2) Airborne intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance (ISR) services.
This service will entail (not limited to):
โ€” the provision of manned ISR aircraft performing different flying characteristics (e.g. high speed and/or long range and/or long endurance and/or hovering) for training purposes;
โ€” the provision of manned ISR aircraft in order to perform threat simulation and jamming activities for the training of Air Defence (AD) crews on AD weapon and radar systems, and during tactical exercises.
