NS seeks suppliers for the delivery of Monobloc wheels for its train types SLT (Desiro platform train) and FLIRT. NS intends to award the contract to the 2 tenderers that submitted the best tenders ranked on a price-quality ratio. The contract (i.e. total demand for Monobloc wheels) will then be allocated to the 2 suppliers as follows: 60 percent to the highest-ranked tenderer and 40 percent to the tenderer that submitted the second-best offer.
