The Cadastral Map Next programme prepares the quality improvement of the Cadastral Map where various aspects such as technology, law and communication are examined in conjunction with each other. Based on the results of the research in the first phase, Kadaster has decided to start the next phase of the programme that is partly aimed at the (partial) continued development of the production line, the mapping of social needs and the realisation of the first products for internal use. The aim of the pilot is to gain more insight into a possible future production environment, specifically the ‘production maturity’ of the developed tooling and the cooperation with commercial organizations. This is shaped by conducting 1 or 2 production tests with a scope of 5 000 field sketches, for the vectorisation — positioning — linking parts.

Both lots are identical in terms of (technical) requirements, requested deliverables and award criteria. The difference between the 2 lots lies in the geographical areas where the field sketches are located. A tenderer can be awarded up to one plot. As the same award criteria apply, this means that the party that comes in second place in the assessment is eligible for the contract for plot B. If it appears that the total financial value of lots A and B combined exceeds the financial capacity of Kadaster, the award of the second lot (Lot B) will be cancelled.
