The objective of this tender is the supply of meteorological and oceanographic data (hereinafter Metocean data) for the Hollandse Kust – Wind Farm Zone (HK WFZ), obtained through field measurements. The field data are to be obtained by means of two individual floating systems equipped with a LiDAR system to measure wind properties and dedicated instrumentation to measure wave and current properties.
The location of the Metocean measurements is the HK WFZ, both Hollandse Kust (zuid) (HKZWFZ) en Hollandse Kust (noord) (HKNWFZ). Both campaigns are running now. Hollandse Kust (zuid) is contracted for 24 months and Hollandse Kust (noord) is contracted for 12 months.
It is the goal that prior to the closing of the HKNWFZ permit tender (expected in Q4 2019) at least 24 months of validated data measured at the HKNWFZ is available. 12 months of validated data are already contracted (period April 2017-April 2018). The remaining 12 months are subject to this tender.
