The Royal Netherlands Air Force has a program to train young aviators to become operational military helicopter pilots. This training program lacks a proper preparation for mountain flying. To make sure the RNLAF helicopter pilots receive the essential training, this tender requests 3 types of training:
1) Initial mountain flying course for newly graduated pilot with a Military Pilot License Helicopter (MPL-(H));
2) Mountain flying instructor course for instructor pilots with a Military Pilot License Helicopter (MPL-(H)), NVG-rated, some mountain flying experience;
3) With both abovementioned training courses it should be allowed to add one loadmaster/crew chief per pilot.

The Royal Netherlands Air Force has a program to train young aviators to become operational military helicopter pilots. This training program lacks a proper preparation for mountain flying.
