The Netherlands Ministry of Defence is looking for a lightweight (MILSPEC VTOL NANO RPAS to support the troops on the ground. The system should be able to be used during day and night operations and in most weather conditions. Due to the nature of military operations the system should withstand ‘normal’ military use — so it should be a robust system. In the design of the air vehicle military features — such as visibility and noise emission — are taken into account. Furthermore the basic maintenance can easily be performed en it's not time-consuming.
