NV NUON Duurzame Energie

The contract is for the procurement of String inverters. On behalf of Vattenfall AB and all of its Group Companies, Nuon Duurzame Energie intends to contract 3 manufacturers of these modules to cover our need for modules until end 2018, with an option year for one more year.
In Vattenfall, we are increasing our activities in Solar PV in service offerings to our b2c and b2b customers and in larger utility scale projects.
For our customers we are developing leasing models next to more traditional direct-sale products. The lease products will enter the markets in Netherlands, Germany and Sweden in 2017. Total targeted sales volume is 50 MWp in 2018 with further acceleration in the next years.
On the utility scale projects we focus on combination of PV with our wind sites and wind development projects. By applying a simple control mechanism we can share the grid infrastructure with very limited curtailment. Such a synergy will also enable us to be competitive in increasingly pressured European subsidy auctions. We expect that subsidy neutral cases in our core markets will come from such hybrid renewable power plants. The first projects will be realized in 2017 with 7 — 9 MWp and our project pipeline will aim to accelerate and add 100 MWp by the end of 2018.
At the time of writing our combined pipeline in the Netherlands, Sweden and Germany, for utility scale projects is 389 MWp. For larger rooftops 430 MW.
Such growth ambitious require a series of strong partnerships with suppliers of pv modules. With this tender we aim to establish these and we look forward to your submissions.
