Delivery and maintenance of 30 Fuel Distribution Containers

This procurement concerns the delivery and maintenance of Fuel Distribution Containers as a Subproject of the Defence-wide Replacement Programme of Operational Wheeled Vehicles (Dutch acronym: DVOW).
The Fuel Distribution Container is designed and certified for the transport and distribution of Class 3 flammable liquids (PGIII UN 1202, UN1223, UN 1268 and UN1863) to vehicles, diesel heaters and/or generators in the field. The Fuel Distribution Container, compliant with ISO 668, ISO 1496, ISO 1161, CSC and dangerous goods legislation, will be used under extreme climatic and atmospheric conditions during military exercises and missions as a stand-alone fuel station. The Fuel Distribution Container consists of a UN portable tank (double wall design), a pump/filter installation and hoses for intake and dispensing of the liquids mentioned above. The Fuel Distribution Container functions independent of external facilities. The Fuel Distribution Container has extensive safety provisions to minimize the risk of spill/soil pollution.
This European procurement will be conducted as the restricted non- public procedure of the Dutch Public Procurement Law for Defence and Security (ADV), which law implements the European Union public procurement directive in the field of Defence and Security (Directive 2009/81/EC).
