There are 5 different Lots. Parties may enter the competition for one (1) or more Lots.
Said parties will be contracted for an initial period of two (2) years with the possibility of two (2) extensions of two (2) years each. Each option to be called 1 year in advance by written order: Comply with all laws/standards/measures/directives/rules; Reducing and improving administrative procedures; Automating and optimizing the logistics and ordering procedures; Optimizing service levels; Ensuring contract compliance; Synchronizing the administrative work-flow with the internal financial administration.

Leiden University believes that the longer duration of the Contract is justified because the making of this Contract is a result of an adequate, transparent, objective and fair competition. Also because the implementation of this Contract will bring large investments and interest for both the Supplier and Leiden University. These investments and interests are as follows:
