Industry Day Rolling Stock 15G Amsterdam
This publication considers the notification of the Industry Day on behalf of the project rolling stock 15G.
GVB Activa B.V. intends to launch a tender in 2015 for the purchase of a new series of rolling stock for the Amsterdam tram network: the 15G series. The 15G series will replace a part of the existing Amsterdam tram fleet. In addition, the 15G series will expand the existing tram fleet, which is necessary due to developments in tram infrastructure (including the proposed conversion of the Amstelveen line in to a dedicated tram line) and a projected growth in the number of passengers.
The Industry Day Tram Equipment 15G aims to give interested parties a first impression of the procurement process (project context, scope of work, challenges, planning, boundaries and requirements) that will be carried out for the purchase of the new series tram equipment.
The Industry Day is not part of the procurement process. Participation in the meeting is entirely optional.
The Industry Day will be held on Monday, 20.4.2015 at Stationsplein 7 in Amsterdam, starting at 10:00. A light lunch will be served following the meeting.
The language of communication during the Industry Day will be English. The public tender is expected to be Dutch only.
