The CBI contributes to the economic development of developing countries by strengthening the competitiveness on the European (EU & EFTA) markets of small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) from those countries.
The Sector Expert will contribute to the programme by supporting participating companies in the European market entry activities, through coaching, consultancy, training, sharing knowledge about export marketing and the European natural ingredients for the pharmaceutical industries markets, and facilitating relevant contacts with buyers on the European market.
For this procedure, the term ‘natural ingredients for the pharmaceutical industries comprises the following:
— Medicinal and aromatic plants
— Saps and extracts
— Food supplements
— Herbal medicine.
