Supply and Installation of Furniture, Signage & Appliances for the building projects along the North-South
Saudi Arabia's ambition to have a world class railway network is rapidly becoming reality. PIF through SAR is investing about SR 20 billion in the North-South Railway, one of the biggest projects currently under construction. The new high speed passenger trains will be fast, convenient and comfortable, and the new railway stations and SAR Headquarters will reflect this image. As part of the project the Contractor will deliver and install the signage on the sites and in the buildings, and supply the more than 70 main buildings with the necessary furniture and appliances. The Contract scope entails deliverables such as signs, station and outdoor furniture, office furniture, tailor made furniture such as counters, complete bedroom furniture, and appliances for office, kitchen and lodging. Quality requirements range from outstanding high quality to heavy duty quality, Smart systems and decoration works. This brief project description is indicative and is solely meant to provide general information to the Respondents. The RFI is being issued as part of a two-stage Tender. Qualified Respondents will be allowed to proceed to the Request for Proposal phase and will be given the opportunity to ask questions and to provide comments. SAR, to its absolute sole discretion, will determine whether to provide answers and/or the merits of making amendments, if any, to the draft of the Contract. Qualified Respondents will subsequently be invited to submit proposals in accordance with the final RFP. Respondents are hereby requested to submit their Responses in the form and substance detailed herein. The determination of eligibility and qualification of Respondents shall be made by SAR in accordance with the procedures and criteria established herein. All submittals should be in accordance with the conditions and requirements set forth in the prequalification documents and provide the requested information no later than Monday 3/9 /1435 H corresponding to 30.6.2014 AD at 2 P.M. to the following address:
