Supply and installation of an integrated gas analysis system for battery abuse testing at the JRC-IET in Petten, including provision of related services
The JRC-IET in Petten intends to perform abuse tests of cells (and possibly battery modules) up to 450 Wh in abuse chambers and in 3 accelerating rate calorimeters (ARCs) to be located in abuse chambers and in the entry room next to the abuse chambers. Battery cells with different chemistry (e.g. Li-ion, Li-S, Li-air, Lead-Acid, NiMH, Na-S, Mg-Sb, Ni/NaCl like 'Zebra' for example) as well as supercapacitors will be investigated; to analyse the gases which arise from abuse testing of the abovementioned batteries and supercapacitors, JRC-IET seeks to purchase and install an integrated gas analysis system (subject of the present call).
