Provision of building maintenance services
Eurojust is responsible for the maintenance of user-related objects in the premises and requires therefore external experts to carry out this maintenance. Furthermore, for any building-related projects initiated by Eurojust, outsourced experts are necessary for this purpose.
Therefore, this procurement procedure will result in a contract with a building maintenance supplier and the supplier will be required for the upkeep of the Eurojust premises, including refurbishments. The scope of the contract will be general facilities maintenance services, mainly repairs, upgrades, also maintenance services for kitchen equipment, fire resistant walls, handy man services and inspections in order to ensure the safe and efficient operation of Eurojust premises.
In 2017 Eurojust plans to move to the new premises where almost all building maintenance works will be ensured by the host State. However, 10 % of these works will be Eurojust's responsibility; therefore, it has to be taken into consideration that around the third year of this contract the contracting authority will be relocated and the services will be related to the new premises.
