Distribution Automation Cabinets.
Distribution automation is realized by means of installing digital components in compact stations. Our envisioned concept is characterized by modular cabinets which are connected by means of standardized connectors. There are three different types of the modular boxes:
Cabinet 1, referred to as ‘DA-system cabinet', includes:
— DA-system;
— DC power supply (rectifier and battery) for the DA-system, protection relays, telecommunications and the primary installation (including motor-operated switches);
— CDMA modem (will be supplied by the Contracting Entity).
Cabinet 2, referred to as ‘protection relays cabinet':
— Simple protection relays (supplied by the Contracting Entity) for detecting primary disturbances and tripping circuit breakers.
Cabinet 3, referred to as ‘fiber-optics cabinet':
— Telecommunication equipment (supplied by the Contracting Entity) for the benefit of fiber-optic communications.
