Private tendering selection guideline for new visitors' centres Design Labs, part of the Cube Design Museum, to be realised at the Museumplein in Kerkrade and to be commissioned by the Museum for Industry and Society Foundation.

Minimumeisen

The candidate tenderers should have adequate financial and economic resources at their disposal in order to carry out the commission satisfactorily without financial risk for the contracting authority, even if the execution is delayed for a longer time due to unforeseen circumstances.

The 4 candidates who are invited to submit their tenders are expected to hand in the following evidence and/or statements with regard to their financial and economic standing within 7 working days from the date the contracting authority first requested them to do so.

Professional qualifications The candidates ought to be registered in a trade register or a comparable register of trades or professions in his country of origin. By way of evidence of registration an extract from the trade register, not older than six months at the date of applying, should be enclosed with the application form. Enrolment in a commercial or professional register Proof of enrolment in a commercial or professional register.

Objective criteria for selection

[Comparability between reference project and Continium commission Reference projects, Before the start of the selection procedure the candidates are to submit one or more reference projects that they successfully completed and delivered. The minimal requirements for the reference projects are: — The reference projects must have been delivered after 1 January 2011. — The reference project should be a similar project that also covers the development of brand strategy and positioning, house-style, development of personae and campaigns for market introduction. If not all aspects are represented in one and the same project, but are spread over several projects carried out for a number of clients, the candidates may hand in several reference projects. Reference projects that do not meet the requirements, will not be awarded any points during the evaluation.
