Supply and maintenance of a glove box for battery testing at the JRC-IET in Petten
Suitable glove boxes are a necessary prerequisite for the safe handling of battery cells and battery components (especially Li ion cells). A glove box from MBraun Labmaster SP (1250/1000) is already in place to disassemble battery cells and handle the components (cathode, anode material and electrolyte) under a protective atmosphere. The new glove box to be procured following this call for tender has to be attached to the existing one via a new T-shaped antechamber (part of this call) to load both glove boxes and allow transport of material under protective atmosphere from one glove box to the other. The new glove box must be able to house an existing STA 449 F3 Jupiter simultaneous thermo analysis system (TG-DTA/DSC) from the company Netzsch (2011). The glove box must be capable of maintaining and monitoring the oxygen and water contents below a value indicated in the technical requirements. The JRC-IET thus seeks to purchase 1 glove box for battery testing with certain technical specifications, and services related thereto.
