Airfield Lighting Control and Monitoring System (ALCMS) Design, construction and maintain โ€” Replacement of the control and monitoring system for airfield lighting system

Schiphol Nederland BV

For control and monitoring of its runway and taxiway lighting systems, Amsterdam Airport Schiphol [AAS] uses of a control and monitoring system, currently based on a server/SCADA system. The current airside control system [BSA-I] and the linked Addressable Light System [ALS] are of major importance to the proper flight processing operations at Schiphol. Both systems will have reached the end of their technical service life by 2015 and will therefore need to be replaced by a single new, integrated system, combining the ALS and BSA functionalities into a new ALCMS. In order to turn this into a reality, SNBV has started up its ALCMS project, which aims to put the ALCMS out to a design, construction and maintain Contract.
