The installation of a cold-neutron source. The near-core part is to be designed and built. A cryogenic installation for supercritical hydrogen with a cooling power of 2 kW is already available on site and may be utilized for the cold neutron source.

Contracts and legal aspects shall be governed by Besluit aanbestedingsregels voor overheidsopdrachten (the Dutch Public Procurement Decree). When time is mentioned in documents used in this tender, it concerns local time (time in the Netherlands). Voorwaarden voor deelname
Geschiktheid om de beroepsactiviteit uit te oefenen:

* a statement saying that the grounds of exclusion (as metioned in article 45 Besluit aanbestedingsregels voor overheidsopdrachten) are not applicable to the applicant

* Applicants must submit a statement saying that the senior staff carrying out the work have a firm grasp of English and that the verbal and written communication can be conducted in this language.

* Applicants must submit a declaration stating that they do not have any objections against and that they will cooperate fully in case of a further investigation into their financial and economic capacity, competence, efficiency, reliability and expertise by or in name of the awarding organisation.

Economische en financiële draagkracht:

* The annual average turnover relating to design and building activities concerning research reactors must be at least 25 000 000 EUR excluding VAT over the last three financial years. These financial years may not have started before 1.1.2009.

* Applicants must submit a statement saying that - if the contract is awarded to them - they will be insured against professional liability, and that a minimum coverage of 2 500 000 EUR during the design phases is guaranteed and a minimum coverage of 10 000 000 EUR is guaranteed during the construction phase.

* Applicants must prove that their continuation is not endangered.

Technische en professionele bekwaamheid:

Applicants must submit one reference project regarding new /modification or upgrade research reactor and one reference project regarding design and installation of a cold-neutron source which according to type, scope and complexity are deemed comparable to the tender project.

Uitvoering van de opdracht
Vereiste deposito's en garanties:

A bank security from a commercial bank seated in one of the EU member states within seven days upon notification of having been awarded the contract, at a value of 5% of the contract amount, including VAT.
