Galileo Full Operational Capability Time and Geodetic Validation Facility
This procurement is for the Galileo System Service Facilities which have to provide Timing and Terrestrial Reference Frame Services (called TSP and GRSP in other system design documentation). At this stage of the Galileo Program, the plan for these Service Facilities is to perform the activities to setup the operational functions which are necessary for the system to deliver OS and PRS signals in space, in compliance with the terrestrial and time reference frame compatibility requirements established in the Mission Requirements Document issue 7.
This will be achieved by implementing the upgrade of the Time and Geodesy Validation Facility (TGVF), which consists of the Time Validation Facility (TVF), the ODTS Validation Facility and the Core
Infrastructure.
The activities necessary to setup the operations of the TSP and GRSP for the exploitation phase (Phase 2) are not covered in this procurement.
