Eindhoven University of Technology

The FACS instrument should be a state-of-the art research-grade instrument capable of sorting a wide variety of cells (bacteria, yeast, and mammalian cells) and nanoparticles based on multiple fluorescence parameters and scattering properties. The instrument should be equipped with 4 lasers and able to sort in a variety of tubes (at least 4-way sorting), well plates and agar plates. The instrument should require minimal optical alignment and day-to-day maintenance and calibration, making it suitable to be operated by multiple users without a dedicated support staff.
