DNB, as Contracting Authority, is organising an open European tender procedure on behalf of itself and of the other Participating National Central Banks for the award of a Framework Agreements for the Supply of Plastic Sealing Tape. In doing so, DNB will act as a Central Purchasing Body and is Lead NCB
A framework supply contract with one supplier, for the supply of sealing tape that is used for closing cardboard boxes that contain euro banknotes. The sealing tape is to be used by euro area national central banks, cash centres and by banknote printing works of the European Union. The boxes must be sealed reliably, so that unauthorised access to their contents can be seen at a glance.
