NedTrain intends to conclude an agreement with a supplier who is capable of delivering and installing the required Bogie Test Rig.
Background:
1. NedTrain should perform a verification of the design and maintenance specifications of bogies to be overhauled. One must think of the "regular" geometric verification measurements, as well as altitude measuring operation in the air spring;
2. To exclude deviations on the level of the train and bogie a verification of the bogie rig, in relation to the maximum wheel load, should be performed to a fixed maximum wheel load unbalance percentage;
3. NedTrain should ensure a continuous deployement of safe equipment (Rolling Stock), in which free interchangeability of bogies (vs. train) is possible.
In order to implement this revision in an efficient and effective way NedTrain should have an appropriate bogie test rig in operations.
This Bogie Test Rig needs to be able to test bogies with secondary suspension with coil springs, air suspension and also Jacobs bogies with secondary suspension with air suspension.
The Bogie Test Rig should also be able to test worn wheel sets. The diameter difference between the left and right wheel can be max 2 mm. The Bogie Test Rig compensates the difference and indicates the consequences.
The Bogie Test Rig must fulfill requirements as specified in the DIN 25043. The Bogie Test Rig should also meet the requirements in accordance with NEN-EN ISO 7500-1 class of machine range 0.5.
All candidates that meet the minimum requirements shall be invited so submit a tender. The project will be awarded based on the most economically favourable tender. The criteria for this shall be included in the request for proposal service and maintenance is part of the agreement.
Candidate should be able and willing to offer a maintenance agreement which guarantees high availability.
