Anti icing system

NedTrain intends to conclude an contract with a supplier capable of delivering the necessary anti icing systems. The final decision on the purchase of these anti icing systems will be made, after approval of the application, in June 2012.
Given the importance of anti icing for the transportation services provided by NedTrain’s customer NS Reizigers BV, NedTrain requires that Candidates only can offer proven technologie.
The purpose of the contract is to have a number of up to 7 pieces anti icing systems in process that meet all the requirements as specified in appendix "functional specification RFI anti icing systems" including engineering, installation, maintenance and commisioning of the anti icing system.
NedTrain may decide, within 1 year after awarding the contract, to order up to 5 extra anti icing systems. This additional order should be carried out under the contracted terms.
The total number of coaches to be treated is 3000 (the types vary from coaches (ICR) to double decker trains (VIRM).
The anti icing system must be built according to CE regulations.
Note: the supplier must start 8 weeks after awarding the contract with the delivery and placing the anti icing systems. Commissioning is 1.11.2012.
Every candidate which meets the minimum requirements will be invited to submit an offer.
