The provision of health, safety and environmental expertise support to the JRC-IE Petten (2 lots)
The Commission seeks for contractor(s) who, with their expertise in occupational health and safety and environmental management, can provide support to the Safety, Health and Environment Sector (SES) of the Joint Research Centre (JRC) — Institute of Energy (IE) in Petten. The call for tender is split in 2 lots:
lot I — expertise in occupational health and safety;
lot II — expertise in environmental management.
Regarding each of the lots, the future contractor shall, among others:
— provide off- or on-site assistance (Petten) to the extent requested by the JRC-IE,
— provide expert advice concerning the subject of the relevant lot,
— monitor requirements from licences and other legislation,
— develop documentation (implementation plans, procedure and work instructions, etc.) in cooperation with the SES sector. In general documents have to be prepared in the English language, on request also in Dutch,
— monitor progress by e.g. participating in safety/environmental tours,
— provide written advice on questions asked by letter (e-mail),
— provide other similar services upon request.
