The project ‘Media4US2 supplement’ is part of the larger project Media4US2.
Media4US2 aims to enhance the general public’s perception on migration by making immigrants and their integration efforts more visible in society. Media4US2 develops and executes transnational comprehensive new multi media strategies, involving a 4 - 8 page (print) attachment to a national free newspaper in eight EU member states, published simultaneously on the same day “Europe-wide”.
This contract concerns the production, publishing and circulation of a 4 - 8 page (print) supplement to a national free newspaper to be published simultaneously in November 2012 in all the following countries: Belgium (French speaking), Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, The Netherlands, Sweden, and UK.
The supplement will be published in the official language of each country of circulation.
The supplement will have a central theme and layout but the content may vary in each country of circulation.

Geschiktheid om de beroepsactiviteit uit te oefenen:
Any publisher of a free daily print medium that has already been in circulation in at least six of the above mentioned countries for the past 2 years can make a bid.

Maximum aantal gegadigden: 7
Objectieve selectiecriteria:
— the supplement must be published in a free newspaper/magazine with an existing average daily circulation of 500 000 copies on national level or with an existing average daily circulation of over 5 000 000 copies on European level,
— the bidder must be able to publish the supplement in at least 6 of the following countries on the same day: Belgium (French speaking), Czech Republic, Germany, Hungary, Italy, The Netherlands, Sweden, and UK,
— the bidder must be able to centrally coordinate the editorial part of the supplement in at least 6 of the above mentioned countries,
— the layout of the supplement must remain the same in at least 6 of the above mentioned countries,
— the publisher of the supplement must be willing and able to cooperate with national NGO’s (selected by the contractor) of the above mentioned countries on the final editing of the supplement,
— sponsoring and advertising in the supplement must be managed centrally on European level,
— all other criteria are negotiable.
