The scope of the tender ranges from the further engineering of the Final Design up to the construction of the premises and the landscaping of the site, including amongst other things the mechanical and electrical installations, security systems, ICT and AV facilities, interior finishes and fixed furniture. The final scope of the Works will be announced in the Request for Proposal.
The design of schmidt hammer lassen architects has a gross floor area of the permanent premises of approximately 52 000 m², including the main building (office wings and court tower) and the warehouse. The current design allows for the possibility of a future extension.
The contracting authority is contemplating applying the clauses, terms and conditions of the NEC3 Engineering and Construction Contract ‘Option C’ target contract with activity schedule, in combination with a guaranteed maximum price for this project, preserving the right to amend the contract and only use the applicable clauses. The choice of these general conditions is based on the view of the contracting authority that transparency, cooperation and confidence lead to better results and better value for money.
